Graphics — 5/5
The graphics of the Rust creates a high-quality, realistic picture. Everything looks very similar to the reality: from an entirely natural environment such as greenery and wildlife to small details like leaves on the trees. All designed well an meticulously.
The graphics are juicy with needed light and shadows, and visual effects, so that we can see a decent picture on the screen.
Gameplay — 4.5/5
Rust is all about surviving, so the gameplay depends on your skills and abilities. The chosen tactics will be crucial for your survival. You will need to look for resources that can help you survive. Also, you will have to build a shelter, look for weapons, and undertake all those things that you feel are necessary to keep you alive. The island is full of dangers: wild animals and no less savage people attack everything in their field of vision. If someone is nearby, you better duck and hide in thickets or under a hill.
The first thing you need to stock up for survival is wood. You can knock on the trees with cobblestone (the initial tool for all players) or simply pick it up from the ground without spending precious forces.
You should also keep track of your body condition. To survive in Rust, you need not only to work hard, but also to lead a healthy lifestyle. The game has three lines of state: health, satiety, and exposure. The first two should not fall to zero, and the third - to rise above 400 units. Otherwise, death.
Controls — 4.5/5
A mouse and a keyboard are the controllers in the Rust. With the help of arrow keys or WASD keys, you will control the movement of your character. You can make your character dodge, sprint, pick up resources, drop them, shoot, etc. with the help of different keys. On the whole, the controls of the game are easy to understand, as well as, customize as per your convenience.
Replay Value — 4.5/5
This game will be hard to resist even after hours of playing. The loot mode, defending the base from the enemies, intense gunfights, raids, etc. all combine to make the game all the more exciting and adventurous. The curiosity to meet other players in online mode also elevates the replay value of Rust.
Rust is a rather addictive sandbox with a reasonably high entry threshold. It regularly evokes a range of emotions while you are playing: from curiosity to frustration, from fear to lust for blood, and from sadness to ecstasy. Your interest does not seem to fade while there is a lot to learn and to do for surviving.
